Our founder, Bren, first discovered his passion for robotics when he saw humanoid robots on TV. Inspired by their human-like movement, he turned his house into a robotics lab and began building early prototypes. This passion led to a 10-year journey in top research labs worldwide, culminating in studying a Ph.D. in humanoid robotics at TUM.

Frustrated by the limitations of hardcoded robotics, our founder saw the potential of reinforcement learning to create robots that interact with the real world. With this vision, Kinisi Robotics was born. In just six months, we developed KR1, a prototype designed to tackle dirty, repetitive tasks across industries. Today, we're scaling KR1 for full production to transform how physical work gets done.
